Ozone CAS#10028-15-6

  • High solubility in water – Ozone dissolves in water much more effectively than oxygen, enabling efficient use in aqueous applications.

  • Formation of ozone water – Easily generates a stable aqueous solution known as "ozone water" for various uses.

  • Improved stability in solution – Slightly more stable in water than in gaseous form, allowing practical handling and application.

  • Short-term storage capability – Can be stored for several hours under low temperature (below 4℃) and away from light without significant degradation.

Ozone CAS#10028-15-6

Ozone exhibits high solubility in water, with a solubility at 20℃ roughly 13 times greater than that of oxygen (around 0.35 g/L). The resulting aqueous solution is commonly referred to as "ozone water." While ozone in water is slightly more stable than its gaseous form, it should still be stored in a cool, dark environment, where it can remain effective for several hours below 4℃.

Product Usage

Ozone offers a broad spectrum of applications. In water treatment, it serves as an effective disinfectant for drinking water, providing a safer alternative to chlorine while avoiding the formation of carcinogenic by-products. It is also suitable for treating industrial wastewater from dyeing and pharmaceutical processes, as well as urban sewage effluents, helping to decolorize and break down pollutants. Additionally, ozone can enhance water quality in aquaculture systems.
