Sodium Hypochlorite CAS#7681-52-9

Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is a pale green crystalline solid that is unstable in air. It readily dissolves in cold water but decomposes in hot water and has a characteristic sweet aroma. The product is typically available in two concentrations: household liquid bleach containing approximately 5.25 wt% NaOCl, and commercial-grade bleach (sometimes referred to as 15% bleach) containing 150 g/L of available chlorine, equivalent to about 13 wt% sodium hypochlorite.
