Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5
Daminozide, also known as Alar, is a systemic plant growth regulator approved in the United States for use on ornamental plants such as chrysanthemums, poinsettias, and bedding plants grown in enclosed structures like greenhouses.
Alar helps reduce internode elongation, enhances heat, drought, and frost resistance, and promotes darker foliage, stronger stems, and earlier as well as multiple flowering and fruiting.
It is commonly applied as a spray at concentrations ranging from 1,500 to 10,000 ppm.

Product Applications of Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5
Daminozide (CAS#1596-84-5), also known as butyryl hydrazine, is a plant growth regulator widely used in agriculture and horticulture. In agricultural applications, it is suitable for fruit trees, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, strawberries, and other crops.
Daminozide helps inhibit excessive plant growth, producing dwarf and compact plant shapes. It also enhances cold and drought resistance, prevents flower and fruit drop, and promotes fruit setting and increased yields, making it a valuable tool for improving crop quality and productivity.
